This opportunity is based on a Production Associate career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job Duties Operate wax injection machines to manufacture wax patterns according to established work instructions and production schedules. Properly load, position, secure, and remove tooling from injection equipment Verify injection parameters, including temperature, pressure, and cycle time, against approved process specifications before production. Monitor equipment and injection cycles to ensure consistent pattern quality. Inspect wax patterns for defects, including air bubbles, short fills, cracks, distortion, and dimensional inconsistencies. Identify and report defective patterns, equipment malfunctions, or process abnormalities to the Injection Lead or Supervisor. Follow established procedures for handling, storing, and transporting wax patterns to prevent damage. Accurately record production quantities, scrap, and other required manufacturing data. Maintain production efficiency while minimizing scrap and material waste. Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance as authorized. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation. Follow all company safety policies, quality requirements, and standard operating procedures. Assist with additional production duties as assigned.Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred. Experience with wax injection or investment casting processes is a plus. Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Basic understanding of production equipment and manufacturing processes. Ability to identify visual defects and recognize abnormal machine conditions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production environment. Dependable attendance and ability to meet production expectations. Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Production Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Ability to lift, carry, and handle tooling and production materials within established safety limits. Ability to work around heated wax, machinery, and manufacturing equipment while following safety procedures. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
