Position Overview

The Newbauer Agency is seeking motivated professionals to join our team as Independent Life Insurance Advisors.

This is a virtual client-facing sales position focused on helping individuals and families evaluate and select appropriate insurance and financial protection solutions based on their needs.

Advisors meet with prospective clients, assess their financial protection goals, explain available options, and help clients apply for appropriate coverage through our carrier partners.

Both experienced insurance professionals and individuals entering the industry are encouraged to apply. Training, mentorship, technology, and ongoing support are provided to help qualified candidates develop the knowledge and skills required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective clients virtually or via phone
• Conduct needs-based insurance consultations
• Educate clients about available life insurance and retirement protection solutions
• Recommend appropriate products based on individual client needs and circumstances
• Assist clients through the insurance application process
• Maintain professional relationships and provide responsive client service
• Participate in ongoing product, sales, and professional development training
• Maintain required licensing and follow applicable carrier, regulatory, and ethical standards
• Manage appointments, follow-up, and client activity independently

Qualifications

• Are committed to maintaining appropriate professional and licensing standards

Previous insurance or sales experience is helpful but not required.

Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing to obtain the appropriate state insurance license before conducting insurance business. Licensing guidance is available for qualified candidates.

Compensation

This is an independent contractor position compensated through commissions based on insurance sales.

Compensation varies according to individual production. This position does not provide a guaranteed salary, and individual results will vary.

Work Environment

This position offers remote flexibility, allowing advisors to conduct client appointments virtually from an appropriate professional workspace. In-person appointments may also be available depending on location and client preference.

Advisors are responsible for managing their schedules, client appointments, follow-up, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Must currently reside in the United States
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must obtain and maintain all insurance licenses required to perform the position
• Must meet applicable insurance carrier appointment and compliance requirements
• Reliable internet access and the ability to conduct professional virtual client meetings are required
