Inventory Planner

The Inventory Planner manages the end-to-end inventory flow for mid-to-high complexity categories. The ideal candidate can look at the big picture connecting the dots between market trends, product lifecycles, MOQ's, lead times to build accurate forecasts. You are a natural problem solver who thrives on collaboration, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our inventory levels always align with the forward momentum of the business.

Major Activities

• Demand Planning: Own the unconstrained demand forecast, proactively improving accuracy through trend analysis and market insights.
• Assortment Strategy: Understand the role of each item in the assortment and customize the inventory approach (e.g., safety stock levels, lead times) accordingly.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the inventory expert within the product category team, driving decisions on future buys and stock positioning.
• Lifecycle Management: Lead the E2E lifecycle strategy; design and execute sell-down plans for discontinued inventory to protect margins.
• Proactive Mitigation: Anticipate OOS and overstock risks before they happen by analyzing business performance trends.

Minimum Type of Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred in Supply Chain or Analytics).
• 35 years of experience in demand planning or inventory management.
• Experience with advanced Planning/Forecasting tools (e.g., Blue Yonder).
