Typically, an 8-hour shift with start time between 1:30 am - 7:30 am. Schedule will be based on business needs./liliWeekends potentially up once a month or more depending on business needs 3:00 am - 11:00 am. Holidays and weekends by rotation 3:00 am - 1:00 pm./liliOn call work typically once every 2 weeks. On-Call is for the 24-hour period of the day the employee signed up for. 12:00 am-11:59 pm for the respective day./liliCandidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, shifts and overtime as per business need./li/ulpWhat Nuclear Pharmacy contributes to Cardinal Health/ppNuclear Pharmacy is responsible for providing radiopharmaceuticals and other drugs to medical care providers under highly regulated State and Federal guidelines may also consult with or advise physicians and nuclear medicine technologists on the safe and efficacious use of radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy./ppWhat Pharmacy Services Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health/ppResponsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT)./ppResponsibilities/pulliPrepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)/liliPackages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers/liliUses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation/liliProcesses packages returned from customer locations/liliMaintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs/liliPerforms general facility cleaning, organization and other duties as required/liliProcess incoming packages for pharmacy use./liliPerforms equipment daily check./li/ulpQualifications/pulliHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred/liliMinimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle/liliMust hold a valid drivers license and have a good driving record/liliPrior delivery driving experience a plus/liliAbility to manage up to 75 pounds/liliComfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours/liliAbility to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time/liliStrong customer service and communication skills/liliFlexibility to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs./liliComfortable working in a nuclear environment/liliAbility to work weekends or be in a weekend rotation/liliAbility to work holidays or be in a holiday rotation/liliAbility to work on call or be in an on call rotation/liliAbility to work overtime with little or no advance notice/liliAbility to use computers and tablets/li/ulpWhat is expected of you and others at this level?/pulliApplies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks/liliReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area/liliMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications/liliWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolution/liliWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods/liliAdheres to all quality guidelines/liliWorks under moderate degree of supervision/liliWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor/liliRefers complex unusual problems to supervisor/li/ulpCandidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply./ppCardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
