This full-time opportunity invites a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide vital support within a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Enjoy the unique experience of working at a single elementary school site, allowing you to build lasting connections with students and staff from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Adept at documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
- Commitment to inclusivity and supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess students’ needs and design effective intervention strategies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Help students develop essential fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills for classroom participation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and service delivery
- Provide recommendations for classroom adaptations to optimize learning environments
