Client Services ManagerThe Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has an exciting opportunity at the Intensive Behavior Center. Our mission at DPHHS is serving Montanans in their communities to improve health, safety, well-being, and empower independence. The Intensive Behavior Center (IBC) is an intensive, short-term treatment facility for individuals who have intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental illnesses. IBC provides an environment for building healthy, effective, and fulfilling lives so those receiving treatment can live successfully in the community after discharge.This position oversees and coordinates services provided to clients by all direct care staff and shift managers to ensure the facility is meeting licensure standards and implementing client treatment plans. Directs, supervises, and evaluates the work activities of all shift managers, recreational staff and direct support staff. Ensures that client programming is operating efficiently in coordination with the professional clinical staff. This position manages cost centers associated with programs and staffing. This position directly supervises six staff and indirectly supervises up to 41 staff and plays a vital role in the daily operations of the facility.Qualifications for this Career Opportunity:Knowledge of the basic principles and practices of human service coordinationSkill in working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illnessesSkills in staffing and supervisory methods, practices, and techniques in a 24 hour a day/seven day a week environment.Ability to deal calmly with high stress situationsMeet minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, social work, communication, or related human services field is preferredThree years experience in an environment providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illnessesFour years of progressively responsible experience as a supervisor or manager in a health and human service setting, one of which was providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illnessesEquivalent combinations of directly related education and work experience may be considered on case-by-case basisThe State of Montana's comprehensive benefits package includes healthcare coverage, retirement plans, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays, work/life balance, and eligibility to participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
