Job Description and Duties

This position is located at the Region Administrative Office in Placentia.

Under the general direction of the Region VII Administrative Assistant (Manager III, DMV), the incumbent conducts research, analyzes data, and develops recommendations, reports, presentations, and procedures to support effective and consistent field office operations. The incumbent conducts surveys, evaluates programs and projects, identifies best practices, and develops strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer service. The incumbent serves as a liaison between field offices, regions, headquarters units, and external entities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating regional initiatives such as outreach initiatives, training, and consistency meetings; providing administrative and operational support to the Region Administrator and Administrative Assistant; handling sensitive and confidential assignments with discretion; and performing other job-related duties as assigned.

The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

Working Conditions

Works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
