Sushi Chef - $1,250 Sign-On Bonus - Uchiko Austin

Overview Hai Hospitality Uchiko is accepting applications for Sushi Chefs. In this role, you will serve as a vital member of our team to enrich the culinary and service experience for our guests. We offer a competitive wage of $25 per hour (base rate + tips) and a $1,250 sign‑on bonus (payable after 90 days following completion of training). Additional opportunities for professional growth are available. Responsibilities Acquaint yourself with our menu, current specials, and Japanese cuisine. Learn and perfect your sushi techniques under the guidance of our skilled Chef teams. Understand proper handling and waste reduction of product. Interact with guests at the sushi bar; take orders, explain dishes, and cultivate an amazing experience for yourself and the guest. Learn our various sushi stations and progress as your knowledge and skills grows. Collaborate with our teams to create dishes that will be showcased on our specials page and core menu.
