If you are looking for a “dynamic, fast-paced environment” or any other corporate cliché, this isn’t the job for you. We are a small, local CPA firm. We do good work, we know our clients, and we don’t pretend this is Wall Street. You can retire your suit and tie; we consider jeans “dress casual”. Our office atmosphere is casual, collaborative and generally upbeat (except maybe around April 15th...we’re only human). We are in search of a Tax/Accounting Manager to:
1. Be the main point of contact for clients that “just have a quick question” or that send a 50 page document in 50 separate JPEG files.
2. Assist with bookkeeping and oversee bookkeeping engagements without losing your will to live.
3. Prepare and review tax returns including 1040’s, 1041’s, 1120’s, 1120-S’s, 1065’s, 990’s, 941’s, 1099’s and the occasional “what in the world is this?” return.
4. Prepare and review tax estimates that clients will confidently ignore and then be shocked when they owe exactly what you calculated.
5. Train clients on QuickBooks Desktop and Online including the advanced skill of “don’t delete that”.
