Compounding Pharmacist OpportunityA compounding pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract to hire arrangement in Burlington, NC. This role offers hands-on experience preparing both sterile and non-sterile compounded prescriptions, working closely with healthcare teams to deliver personalized patient care.Schedule and Hours:40 hours per week, Monday through FridayHours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PMEvery third Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM30-minute lunch breakKey Responsibilities:Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to address patient-specific pharmaceutical needsPrepare and dispense compounded prescriptions following safety and quality standardsMaintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory effectivelyProvide expert pharmaceutical advice to optimize patient health outcomesAssist in the training and supervision of pharmacy techniciansQualifications and Desired Experience:Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience; new graduates with a passion for compounding are encouraged to applyKnowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standardsFamiliarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processingExperience or willingness to learn pharmacy software similar to QS1 (training provided)This contract to hire position is perfect for pharmacists seeking to advance their compounding skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
