Assistant Store Manager

Southampton, NY / Assistant Manager, Full-Time We are seeking a dynamic & experienced individual to join our retail team as an Assistant Manager at our store in Southampton, NY. You will assist with day-to-day operations, staffing & leading the team, clienteling, and inventory management. We’re looking for someone who has a “no task is too big or too small” attitude and enjoys wearing many hats. The ideal candidate is passionate about the in-store customer experience and excited to help grow the Julia Amory brand presence in Southampton. Key Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of retail management experience Strong sales, operational, communication, and computer skills Ability to multitask, problem solve, and work independently Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and support a small team Availability to work during the week & on weekends Responsibilities: Delivering an exceptional customer experience for all customers visiting the store Assisting with day-to-day store operations and ensuring the store is maintained to Julia Amory standards Problem solving in real time and addressing customer questions, feedback, and concerns Assisting with recruiting, hiring, and training members of the retail sales team based on the needs of the business Supporting staff scheduling, team leadership, and daily store management Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships through clienteling Assisting with inventory management, visual merchandising, shipping/receiving, events, and miscellaneous operational tasks Communicating customer feedback and business needs with the corporate team Who You Are: A team player with a positive, genuine, and approachable demeanor A strong communicator who thrives working closely with a small team A strategic problem solver who is self-motivated and organized Someone who takes initiative and “owns” a project from start to finish Possesses a strong sense of integrity and accountability Passionate about the customer experience and growing the Julia Amory brand Comfortable wearing many hats and jumping in wherever needed This position is classified as a full-time hourly position Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods Housing for this position will not be provided #J-18808-Ljbffr
