Teach Play Learn is an educational concierge curating customized learning roadmaps for students and their families. We guide students and their families through a more enriched and holistic learning experience with customized roadmaps for every unique need and challenge. There’s more than one way to learn, and we’re here to help families find their way. We come alongside families and individuals in their learning journeys to help them by creating meaningful, holistic learning experiences that support the mind, body, and spirit. 

Teach Play Learn currently serves the greater Los Angeles Areas for both in-person and remote learning. We believe in leveling the learning field for all learners by making personally meaningful educational resources and support accessible to all. 

We are currently expanding our Teach Play Learn teaching team of independent contractors to collaborate with, so if you feel in line with our vision listed above, we would love to meet you!

We are looking for: 

• Multi-passionate people who bring diverse skill sets and experience into their teaching practice.

• An experienced educator/mentor with a genuine passion for education. This is an individual who demonstrates confidence in curriculum creation, scaffolding strategies, and on the spot improv of material. 

• An ability to communicate clearly, compassionately, and competently with all parties involved (students, parents, teachers, support staff, therapists, etc. as needed).

• An excitement and ability to think outside the box and bring their own twist to learning and education.

• Logistics: (1) must have at least a bachelor's degree, (2) clean record, (3) reliable transportation as many of services requested are in the home, and (4) tech savvy as video conferencing, online accounting, and parent communication/session progress reports are done via online systems. Training will be provided; however, a level of comfort with tech is preferable. 

Additional qualifications we are currently seeking: 

• Credentialed Teachers 

• Classroom Experience

• Reading Certification (i.e. Orton Gillingham, Linda Mood Bell)

• Spanish speaking

• Multiple-subject and grade level experience (preK - 12th)

• Upper level math and science
