This Medicare-certified, 152-bed acute care facility holds a Level III trauma designation and provides specialized hematology and oncology services across inpatient and outpatient settings. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support coordinated oncologic care delivery. Clinical operations are designed to facilitate quality hematologic and oncologic care on an ongoing basis.

Scottsdale, Arizona offers a range of activities suited to varied interests, including outdoor pursuits such as hiking and biking, as well as cultural attractions including award-winning museums and botanical gardens. Clinicians on assignment may also explore nearby destinations such as the Grand Canyon, Saguaro National Park, and Meteor Crater, along with family-oriented spots such as McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park and Bearizona Wildlife Park. The area supports additional options including golf, spa and wellness, shopping, and dining throughout the year.

Clinicians will provide on-site inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology coverage in Arizona, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Clinical responsibilities encompass hospital rounds and clinic hours for patients admitted to the hospital as well as outpatient encounters, with no call obligations required outside of clinic hours. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology is required for this locum tenens engagement.
