Medical Imaging Technologist II

The Multi-Modality Technologist is qualified to perform a minimum of two imaging procedures, such as MRI, CT, diagnostic US, IR, Radiation Therapy, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine. This role supports routine operation of multiple modalities, providing on-call coverage as needed, and focuses on patient-centered care . Key responsibilities include performing imaging procedures ensuring quality standards communicating exam details to patients troubleshooting equipment and software maintaining competency in at least two modalities Qualifications include high school diploma or GED, graduate of an accredited radiology program, preferred associate’s degree in radiologic technology, 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience, licensure or certification in two modalities through recognized certifying bodies such as ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or ARDMS, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
