Computed Tomography Technologist

Become a vital part of the team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment in a hospital setting in Erie, PA. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and collaboration with radiology and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient imaging services.

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or Radiography with CT certification as required by the client.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT studies and cross-sectional imaging protocols.
• Experience working in a hospital radiology department.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced CT applications such as CTA, CT perfusion, or cardiac CT.
• Prior experience with PACS and radiology information systems (RIS).

Assignment Details

• Primary shift pattern includes 12-hour shifts (examples include 3x12 or 2x12 and 2x8 as scheduled).
• Typical 12-hour shift timeframe around 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM for many 12-hour assignments, with rotation as required.
• Weekend assignments will be scheduled to provide equal distribution among staff.
• May be required to rotate shifts as needed to meet department needs.

As a CT technologist in this role, you will provide timely, accurate imaging services that support clinical decision-making. You will collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure diagnostic quality, patient safety, and a positive patient experience.
