Properly conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safe operational order and detect/report maintenance issues. Safely operates loaders and forklifts to transport materials from storage to hoppers. Ensure the quality and accuracy of product being loaded and delivered. Climbs in and out of equipment safely using proper 3-points of contact and complies with the working at heights policy. Safely load building materials (block, rock, sand and other materials supplies) for delivery. Completes written report of any issues or necessary repairs, and relay to the maintenance team for repairs. Detects and reports improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to management. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Understand general machinery maintenance and physical ability to bend, squat and maneuver body to reach, clean and service equipment and conveyors unassisted. Works outdoors in heat and uneven surfaces for extended hours at a time. Shovels rock, sand, and other materials manually as needed. Maintains strict adherence to company policies, safety/OSHA requirements and procedures. Possesses a professional attitude while interacting with peers, contractors and general public May perform other related duties as required or directed. Must be available to travel and work from other company facilities as needed. Requirements Ability to communicate, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions. Ability to operate heavy equipment. Ability to perform manual labor and adjacent job responsibilities as required. Must be willing to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays when necessary. Regular and timely attendance is required. Must pass pre-employment requirements, drug screen, criminal background check and driving record review. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
