CNA / Caregiver

Position Summary A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Caregiver with behavioral‐health experience provides direct care, emotional support, and behavior‐management assistance to clients with conditions such as autism, developmental disabilities, dementia or mental‐health disorders. The role focuses on safety, dignity, and consistent behavioral support while helping clients maintain independence in daily living.

Key Responsibilities

· Personal Care Support — Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, mobility, and hygiene while maintaining client dignity.

· Behavioral Management —Experience with autism spectrum behaviors , dementia, or other age-related conditions

· ADL Assistance — Support daily living tasks such as meal prep, feeding, housekeeping, and medication reminders.

· Communication & Reporting — Collaborate with client's care team to provide client updates and important health change

· Emotional Support — Build trust, encourage social engagement, and support clients through emotional or behavioral challenges.

· Skill‐Building Support — Assist clients in developing independence, coping skills, and daily routines.

Requirements

· Bilingual Spanish/English

· Home Health Aid (HHA) or Active CNA Certification (state‐approved)

· Experience working with behavioral‐health or special‐needs clients

· Strong communication, patience, and problem‐solving skills

· Valid CPR/First Aid Certificate

· Negative TB skin test within the last 12 months or chest X-ray within the last 24 months.

· Valid Driver's license and auto insurance with reliable vehicle

· Eligible to work in United States

· Level 2 background screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Learn more:
