Bartender

Bartender Position

A newly opened restaurant in North Tonawanda is seeking experienced, personable bartenders to join its growing front-of-house team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in crafting quality beverages, and enjoy creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere for guests. Bartenders will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of drinks, delivering exceptional customer service, and contributing to an outstanding overall dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies, glassware, and garnishes.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying the age and identification of guests and refusing service to intoxicated individuals.
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to guests.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions and operating the point-of-sale system.
• Upsell additional menu items and promote specials or promotions to maximize sales and enhance the guest experience.
• Stay updated on current beverage trends, new products, and industry developments to provide innovative and unique offerings to our guests.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and interact with guests in a positive and professional manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and serving beverages.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Continuously bend, reach, twist and use your hands and arms.
• Able to lift 80 pounds at a time.
