Responsibilities include assisting passengers requiring mobility support in transferring to and from an aircraft seat using appropriate devices, pushing wheelchair passengers to and from airport gates, assisting passengers with handling checked, carry-on, and claimed luggage, safely guiding passengers in wheelchairs down the jet bridge, ensuring the proper placement of wheel brakes before passengers exit the wheelchair, completing necessary reports regarding wheelchairs or incidents, adhering to dispatcher gate orders, addressing passengers' questions or concerns with prompt and helpful assistance, demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location, exemplifying PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards, and performing any additional duties as assigned by management.Qualifications18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesCommunicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
