Job Description:

We are looking to fill open roles at our La Crosse, WI Distribution Center, in our Janitorial Department, helping us keep our floors safe and clean by o perating power equipment such as a forklift's, tuggers and a floor sweeper/scrubber.

OPTIONS FOR BOTH LONG TERM AND SHORT TERM (SUMMER SEASONAL) AVAILABILITY

TWO (2) SHIFTS AVAILABLE!

1st shift

Monday- Thursday 7:00am- 4:00pm; Friday 7:00am- 1:00pm

2nd shift

Sunday- Thursday 4:00pm- 12:30am

What You'll Do

• Operate power equipment such as a forklift, tugger and a floor scrubber.
• Clean bag good aisles
• Empty cardboard in the warehouse
• Making bales
• Sweep and Vacuum trash in assigned aisles
• Pick up broken pallets, cardboard, and trash
• Remove damaged products and take to the damage area
• Maintain and clean stairwells.
• During inclement weather, maintain sidewalks by shoveling snow, putting out ice melt, etc.
• Emptying trash cans
• Ordering supplies for housekeeping
• Cleaning windows
• Maintain a safe work environment at all times
• Other projects as needed

What you need to succeed:

• Be a safety champion by promoting a safe and productive workplace through your own actions, including the proper use of PPE, safe operation of powered equipment and safe lifting techniques as determined by the role.
• Be an active participant in contributing to a successful safety culture in the facility.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shift and hour
