Transmission/Drivability Technician OpportunityColonial Chevrolet of Acton is a reputable automotive dealership located in Acton, Massachusetts. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and high-quality vehicles to our customers.Description of the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Transmission/Drivability Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Transmission Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing transmission issues in various makes and models of vehicles. You will work with a team of skilled technicians and have access to state-of-the-art equipment and technology to efficiently perform your duties.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair transmission and drivability issues in vehiclesPerform routine maintenance on transmissionsInspect and test vehicles to identify potential transmission problemsDisassemble, repair, and reassemble transmissionsEnsure all work is performed accurately and efficientlyKeep detailed records of all repairs and maintenanceCommunicate with customers regarding the status of their vehiclesRequirementsProven experience as an Automotive Transmission TechnicianStrong knowledge of transmission systems and operationExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsValid driver's licenseASE certification is a plusBenefitsCompetitive compensation: $50 - $60 per hourOpportunities for career growth and advancementHealth insurance and other employee benefitsPositive work environmentState-of-the-art equipment and technology
