Pay: $10.00 per hour

Requirements: Must have valid Driver's License, valid driving documents & reliable transportation

Shift: Week Days (No Weekends)

Job Summary: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)

This position requires the candidate to have a valid drivers license and valid driving documents, along with reliable transportation; for this position requires the applicant to safely transport the consumer to local events and appointments. We are seeking compassionate Direct Service Workers (DSW) who are passionate about providing high-quality 1-on-1 support. Shift Details: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)

· Shift:

• Week 1: 16 hours, 2 days

• Week 2: 24 hours, 3 days

• Shift: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM

• Every other weekend: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Core Responsibilities: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)

· Personal Care: Assist consumers with daily routines, including transfers, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.

· Home Support: Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe living environment.

· Community Help: Provide transportation to appointments or errands within the Lake Charles area.

· Daily Documentation: Keep accurate logs of care provided and report any health changes.

 

Requirements: Direct Support Professional (Caregiver)

· Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.

· Documents: Valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card

· Background: Must pass all state-mandated background checks and screenings.

· Transport: Reliable transportation to transport the consumer to community events and appointments in the Lake Charles area.

· Character: A patient, compassionate, and reliable work ethic.
