Registered Nurse (RN)This role is part of a float pool, requiring staff to work flexibly throughout various departments, including the Emergency Department, ER hold, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to patients across multiple units.Maintain patient ratios up to 1:6 in the Medical-Surgical unit.Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Complete necessary documentation in compliance with facility policies.Schedule RequirementsThis is a float pool position; candidates must have a flexible schedule.Work weekends every other week.No block schedule requests can be accommodated.Experience RequirementsA minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.First-time travelers are accepted.HolidaysTravelers are expected to work during major holidays as outlined below:Memorial DayIndependence DayLabor DayThanksgiving/Black FridayChristmas Eve/Christmas DayNew Year's Eve/New Year's DayIf assigned during a major holiday period, the requirements are as follows:One major holiday: expected to work.Two major holidays: expected to work both.Three major holidays: expected to work two of the holidays.Compliance and OrientationFull compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant, the start date may be delayed by two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by the contract length.Shift DetailsThis position requires working night shifts of 3x12 hours, with hours from 19:00 to 07:00.Additional InformationLocal candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
