Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Insulator Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation to various job sites. Be willing to learn various Mechanical Insulation techniques and materials, ensuring quality installations for commercial projects. No insulation experience needed. Construction site experience is a plus. We are based in Lakeland, but have projects from here to Bradenton currently. Gas reimbursement program available.
Responsibilities
- Install insulation on HVAC duct and plumbing piping on commercial construction projects
- Apply insulation materials such as fiberglass, foamglass, fire wrap, rubber
- Measure and cut insulation to fit ducts and piping
- Work with various tools including hand tools, lifts, etc
- Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and HVAC technicians
