About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00-19:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have Skills/Experience: PACU experience preferred Description: Located in a region known for its beautiful recreational landscape. The facility has 111 beds and provides various services including emergency care, family medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics, and urgent care. This is a teaching hospital. The facility has a trauma level 3 designation. The PACU department has 6 beds with mostly a 1:1 patient ratio. Currently, Space Labs monitors are in use. The electronic health record system in use is Paragon. The supervisor for this position is an experienced registered nurse. The patient population primarily consists of adults, with occasional pediatric patients. Candidates must be willing to take on call shifts as part of the role. There are call requirements of 4 shifts per month, including one weekend. This position is a replacement for permanent staff.
