SAP MM-WM System Architect

Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a System Architect to join our Information Technology team. This hybrid role can be located in our Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Smyrna, GA, Beachwood, OH, Moon Township, PA, Raleigh, NC, Houston, TX, Menomonee Falls, WI or South Milwaukee, WI facility. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:The SAP MM-WM System Architect is responsible for defining and communicating a shared architectural vision for a complex product (highly integrated, multiple applications) that enables them to support current and future business needs. This individual will be required to be a expert in SAP MM & WM/EWM module with exposure to manufacturing processes within a highly integrated and diverse IT landscape. They will collaborate with Agile teams to consider solutions, validate technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and converge on a solution. Finally, the System Architect will work closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects to deliver solutions that are aligned to the broader architecture guardrails.In this function you will: Lead and participate in the planning, definition, development, and high-level design of complex product solutions and architectural alternativesEnable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelinesDefine and communicate system interfaces, data structures, data storage, integrations, cybersecurity considerations, test automation concepts, and deployment approachesConfigure standard business process in Material Management, Warehouse Management Modules in both ECC and S/4HANA Design business process integration of SAP MM with SD, FICO & PP in ECC & S/4HANA Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirementsConsider the impact economic boundaries have on design decisions and operate accordinglyParticipate in solution planning, incremental planning, product demos, and inspect and adapt eventsPlan and develop the architectural runway for a product that supports desired business outcomesProvide technical oversight and encourage security, quality, and automationEffectively negotiate with the business to ensure nonfunctional work (e.g. patching, platform upgrade etc.) is properly prioritized and worked on to reduce the accumulation of technical debt over timeQualifications:Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionMinimum 8 years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record of shipping high quality productsRelocation is not available. Candidates must currently reside within a 50 mile radius of Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Smyrna, GA, Beachwood, OH, Moon Township, PA, Raleigh, NC, Houston, TX, Menomonee Falls, WI or South Milwaukee, WI.
