Manager Residential Operations

Job Summary The primary responsibility is to lead the team that delivers person-centered care and services to those we support in a residential setting to fulfill our purpose for existing “We believe the world shines brighter when people with developmental disabilities achieve their full potential.” Key Responsibilities 60% Talent, Leadership & Results Align passion and talents of others and create a culture where teams thrive. Partner with operational leaders, HR, quality, and nursing. Hire, welcome, onboard, and mentor new team members. Facilitate regular meetings and support required training to ensure quality and compliance. Develop the schedule for program DSPs and Lead DSPs as needed. Identify ways to remove barriers, achieve results, and maintain high engagement. Actively recognize and appreciate staff efforts. Identify training and development needs through Quarterly Connections and coaching. Serve as a resource for DSPs, Lead DSPs, persons we support, and parents/guardians when local efforts are insufficient. Demonstrate positive leadership behaviors, leading by example, empowering teams, and promoting collaboration. 25% Program Leadership Engage in admissions by completing Person Focused Worksheet and individual support plans (ISP/PSP). Complete required Medicaid redeterminations and renewal submissions. Influence the program with a focus on budget and metrics to grow residential services and meet balanced scorecard results, maintaining collaboration with all stakeholders. Ensure standard AbleLight operating procedures and applicable state and local regulations are followed. Manage facilities and property through regular inspections and vehicle maintenance. Complete training and manage compliance for direct reports per local, state, federal, and AbleLight policies. Recommend quality and process improvements for employees and service recipients. 15% Person-Centered Care and Services Document timely, comprehensive, and objective records through health information technology and human resource systems. Track, monitor, and update Individual Support Plans (ISP/PSP) collaboratively with the person served, parents/guardians, clinicians, and internal partners. Maintain Parent/Guardian communication and documentation. Deliver person-centered care and services to those we support. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent four years of relevant IDD experience. Experience: Four years of supervisory or case management experience, including two to three years of prior leadership and IDD experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge – serving others, giving and receiving feedback, holding self and others accountable. Skills – collaboration, listening, conflict resolution, leveraging technology. Abilities – continuous improvement of self and processes. Travel / Flexibility Ability to be flexible on hours and residential settings within the local community to assist colleagues and those we serve. #J-18808-Ljbffr AbleLight
