Extrusion Operator

- Shift Timings: 06:00 PM to 06:00 AM Rotating Schedule of 12 Hours shifts, 3 days one week, 4 days the following, off every other weekend
- Salary Range: $35,000.00 to $47,000.00
- No. of Positions: 10
- At least 1 year extrusion experience.
- Ability to adjust machine dimensions.
- Must be able to lift 50 LBS.
- Set up and operate and extrusion machine and ensure proper dimensions are set up
- Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, temperatures, and amounts, dimensions and flow of materials or ingredients
- Ensure that quality expectations are met and notify lead technician, or supervisor, when extruded product fails to meet standards
- Record and Maintain production data such as meter readings ad quantities, types and dimensions of materials produced
- Turn controls to adjust machine functions, such as regulating air pressure or die gaps.
- At least one year of experience as an extrusion operator in a plastic packaging environment (must have been the operator or lead operator not helper or roll hanger)
- 2 years of machine operator experience
- 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Experience in injection molding
- Steel toe shoes
- Ability to read, write, and perform math skills
- Sense of urgency and responsibility
- Understanding of manufacturing and quality control
- Lift 50 LBS.
