Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Minimum six months of outpatient physical therapy experience required.
• Experience performing comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, and documenting progress in clinical records.
• Ability to provide patient and family education and to participate in student supervision as assigned.
• Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with outpatient caseloads and functional treatment programs focused on return to community activities.
• Prior experience with documentation of letters of medical necessity and functional quality indicator assessment.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday & Wednesday 9:30 AM–7:00 PM; Tuesday & Thursday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; Friday 7:30 AM–3:00 PM.
• Duration: 13 week assignment.

Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans aligned with patient needs and physician direction. Provide safe, evidence-based care and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and timely.
