Toddler Lead Teacher | SAGE PREP

We are looking for an energetic and nurturing Toddler Lead Teacher who can turn everyday moments into opportunities for scholars to explore, communicate, create, and grow.

The educator we are looking for brings the perfect combination of warmth and structure. You are patient but consistent, creative but organized, and playful while remaining intentional about learning. You understand toddler development, enjoy getting on the floor and learning alongside scholars, and can transform stories, songs, sensory experiences, movement, early literacy, numeracy, and purposeful play into an exciting day of discovery.

As a Lead Teacher, you will own the success of your classroom. You will develop engaging lessons aligned with GELDS, create inviting learning experiences, observe and celebrate scholar growth, collaborate with your teaching team, build positive relationships with families, and maintain a safe, organized, nurturing environment. Active supervision, professionalism, reliability, and compliance with Bright from the Start and DECAL requirements are non-negotiable.

We especially want to meet educators who take initiative, welcome coaching, work well as part of a team, and genuinely enjoy the wonderfully busy world of toddlers. Early childhood classroom experience is strongly preferred, along with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Candidates must meet Bright from the Start credential and training requirements, successfully complete required background screenings, and maintain required Pediatric CPR and First Aid credentials.
