Dermatology Health & Science Specialist VIT - Des Moines, IA

Pfizer seeks a field-based dermatology specialist to drive adoption of skin disease therapies through strategic engagement with healthcare providers. The role involves building relationships with dermatologists and clinics, delivering clinical messaging, navigating reimbursement, and supporting product launches across a multi-city territory in Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Execute territory strategies and account plans to drive therapy adoption and meet sales objectives
- Build relationships with dermatologists, advanced practice providers, and office staff through in-person and virtual engagement
- Deliver clinical and product messaging using approved materials to influence prescribing decisions
- Navigate formulary access, reimbursement processes, and patient support to improve patient access
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product launches and provide field-based market insights
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years with associate's; 10+ with high school diploma)
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device sales or marketing experience
- Valid US driver's license with clean driving record; no DUI/DWI within 7 years
- Ability to reside within workable distance of assigned territory and travel to all accounts
- Strong specialty selling skills and disease-state knowledge in dermatology preferred
- Experience with reimbursement navigation and key opinion leader engagement preferred
Compensation: $108,600 - $250,700 base salary plus sales incentive bonus
