Senior Health Unit Coordinator - Day Shift Admin Support

Overview The Administrative Support Associate’s V/Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) role performs customer service, clerical and reception duties to support the workflow of the unit, nursing station, and delivery of patient care. Clerical activities include accurate preparation, processing and standardization of patient records and utilization of clinical information systems. Customer service duties involve effective communication with patients, significant others, and members of the health‑care team. The ASA V/HUC meets the needs of all units within the Patient Care Service assigned as needed. Compensation Salary Range: $46,215.00 - $60,080.00 Work Shift Day (United States of America) Department / Unit Secure Unit - C3W Duties Assembles and maintains patient records, filing data, and obtains reports and data necessary for departmental operations. Greets and assists visitors courteously. Answers phones courteously. Records and relays messages accurately. Locates key personnel to direct calls and respond to inquiries. Makes appointments and books rooms as necessary. Prepares and distributes outgoing reports via email and inter‑departmental mail. Maintains department reports. Operates office machines such as photocopier, fax machine, and computer. Orders materials, supplies, forms and services, and completes records and reports. Utilizes clinical and patient information systems to support delivery of patient care. Assists in implementation of specialized projects.
