Speech Language Pathologist

Locations : Kingston, NY and Ellenville, NY

Position Type: Full-Time | 10-Month School Year + 6-Week Summer Program

Schedule

• Full-time position.

• Monday-Friday.

• Day shift: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM .

• In-person role.

• 10-month school year + 6-week summer program.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services according to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Evaluate students' communication skills according to NYSED, ASHA, and Medicaid guidelines .

• Conduct formal and informal assessments and develop appropriate treatment goals.

• Write annual IEP goals, benchmarks, progress reports, and quarterly updates.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment logs, data collection, and student progress records.

• Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to student goals.

Qualifications

• Required: NYS Speech-Language Pathology License and/or NYS Speech-Language Teaching Certificate.

• Current TSSLD Certificate required.

• Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are welcome; excellent supervision is available.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, families, and team members.

• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum preferred.

• Interest in supporting children with communication and developmental needs.

• Salary: Starting at $65,000 annually (based on experience and certification), including full-time summer 2027 hours.
