This role is ideal for an early-career finance professional who brings strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within a dynamic, high-performance environment.As a Treasury Analyst, you will support Fervo’s day-to-day treasury operations, including cash reporting and reconciliations. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate visibility into the company’s cash position and supporting timely, reliable financial reporting.You will work closely with Accounting and external banking partners to maintain cash controls, support transaction processing, and strengthen treasury reporting processes. This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate treasury operations within a rapidly scaling organization.RequirementsResponsibilitiesCash Management & ReportingPrepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly cash position reports across all bank accounts and support short-term cash forecastingMonitor cash movements, wire activity, and account balances to ensure accuracy and completenessAssist with maintaining appropriate internal controls over cash transactionsCommunicate and coordinate with internal groups, including Accounts Payable and Land, and externally with banking partners to support smooth cash operationsRespond to internal and external audit requests by gathering bank statements, reconciliations, and transaction records, and provide clear, well-organized documentation to support timely audit completionSupport preparation of materials for monthly meetings, including treasury reporting, liquidity updates, and key performance insightsReconciliation & ControlsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies related to cash transactions and treasury activityPartner with Accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate cash reporting and supporting schedulesMaintain organized treasury documentation to support internal and external audit requestSupport ongoing enhancements to treasury processes to improve accuracy, scalability, and efficiencyTransaction Support & Banking OperationsAssist with wire processing, ACH transactions, and banking portal administrationSupport bank account maintenance activities, including documentation and signatory updatesPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of cash transactionsSupport the evaluation and implementation of treasury products and banking tools to improve efficiency, controls, and process automationTeam and CultureDemonstrate extreme ownership of accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in all treasury reportingCollaborate closely with Accounting, FP&A, and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless financial operationsWork with urgency, adaptability, and resilience in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentContribute to a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement within the Finance organizationQualificationsRequiredB.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field2–5 years of experience in treasury, accounting, finance, or related corporate finance functionsExperience with cash reporting, bank reconciliations, or liquidity trackingStrong proficiency in Excel, including comfort working with large data sets and financial modelsExceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracyStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyPreferredExperience in corporate treasury operations within a high-growth companyExposure to ERP systems and banking platformsExperience supporting audits or internal control documentationFamiliarity with short-term cash forecasting or liquidity managementExperience in infrastructure, energy, project finance, or capital-intensive industriesHands-on experience applying AI tools to strengthen treasury processes and workflowsLocationFervo Energy is headquartered in Houston, TX, with growing offices in Golden, CO; Reno, NV; Oakland, CA; and Salt Lake City, UT. This position will be eligible for some hybrid work flexibility, but regular in-office presence at the Houston office will be required.
