Assistant Store Manager - Oakland Hills District

Competitive Pay, Perks & Benefits Competitive pay, with a scale of $27.00 - $30.00 per hour ($56,160 - $62,400 per year based on a 40‑hour week). Responsibilities Support the Store Manager in achieving financial and operational goals by driving sales and leading the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Use reporting and feedback tools to inform decisions, track progress toward goals, and identify opportunities to improve performance. Create and support a positive team culture through active coaching, effective communication, and sound judgment, fostering camaraderie and supporting employee retention. Contribute to employee development by providing regular coaching and feedback, and recognize and respond to performance issues. Assist with recruiting, hiring, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels to maintain coverage and performance. Assist in managing daily coffee bar operations, including inventory control, cash handling, cleanliness, and compliance with safety and labor standards. Minimum Qualifications At least two years of management or supervisory experience within the service or food industry, or equivalent experience and related training. Open availability and adherence to management scheduling guidelines while working 40 hours per week. Ability to work various hours, schedules, early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Compliance with Peet's Employment of Minors policies and ability to supervise and work with minors. Legal eligibility to work in the country where the position is located. Minimum age of 18 years.
