Sit-Down Forklift Operator Qualifications & Requirements

Previous sit-down forklift experience. Ability to safely operate a Toyota sit-down electric forklift. Experience reading and following shipping, receiving, or inventory paperwork. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately pull and stage orders. Basic computer skills preferred. Dependable attendance and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work well with others. Willingness to learn warehouse layout, inventory locations, and company procedures through provided training.

Sit-Down Forklift Operator Job Responsibilities & Duties

Operate a Toyota sit-down electric forklift safely to move, stage, and organize warehouse materials. Pull products from warehouse shelving based on receiving and shipping paperwork. Transport pallets and materials throughout the warehouse and to the shipping dock. Prepare orders for shipment by palletizing, wrapping, and securing products. Accurately verify items, quantities, and locations to ensure order fulfillment accuracy. Maintain an organized warehouse environment and follow inventory handling procedures. Follow safety guidelines and company processes while operating equipment and handling materials. Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to support daily shipping and receiving operations. Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
