Description: Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Healthcare Center 100 Lake Traverse Drive Sisseton SD 57262 Prairie Band Health Service is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional healthcare services at Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Healthcare Center 100 Lake Traverse Drive Sisseton SD 57262 Learn more about the facility here: Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center (WWKMHCC) | Healthcare Facilities Details: * Monday through Friday * Great Staff and Location * Local or Locums welcomed to apply Hours of Operation: normal clinic hours and shifts, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays Duties: Performing full range periodontal therapy including supra and sub-gingival prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance and scaling/root planning. Hygienists provide patient education on oral hygiene, nutrition, and oral cancer prevention, while advocating patient comfort and effective treatment strategies. Hygienists are required to take appropriate radiographs, perform periodontal charting and provide chairside exam assistance with dentists. Clerical duties of maintaining patient records, and scheduling appointments Infection control duties include instrument reprocessing following applicable guidelines and service unit policies. Requirements: · Must have successfully completed an accredited dental hygiene program recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) · Possess and maintain a current, active, full, and unrestricted licenses to practice dental hygiene in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. · Have three (3) years' experience · Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Indian Preference Exercised Prairie Band, LLC is subject to Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. In accordance with Title 22, this position is designated as a TIER 2 position. Preference will be given to individuals to the extent required pursuant to Section 22-2-4(B).
