Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, rotating\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Rotating, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring 18 months of recent SICU experience and a permanent Ohio or compact RN license in hand.Details\n \n Work in the Surgical ICU (SICU) unit of a hospital environment\n Rotating day/night shifts on a 3x12 schedule (7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30)\n Shifts may be adjusted to meet the operational needs of the hospital\n Required to work at least every other holiday\n Requirements\n \n Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand\n Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)\n 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required, preferably within one location\n 18 months of recent SICU experience required (travel experience accepted)\n One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months\n COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical/religious exemptions only\n Additional Information\n \n Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score required, with a maximum of two attempts allowed\n Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate\n Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date\n Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but open cases will not be accepted\n No hits on professional license will be accepted\n Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-748082.
