Radiologic Technologist I

Position Overview We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment, obtaining routine radiographs based on physician specifications and protocols. Key Responsibilities Providing high-quality imaging services while adhering to radiation safety and organizational policies. Evaluating image quality, ensuring proper patient identification, and labeling images correctly. Participating in departmental performance improvements and training activities. Maintaining a clean, safe environment and managing supplies. Communicating effectively with patients, obtaining medical histories, and explaining procedures. Performing quality control and reporting equipment issues promptly. Supporting patient education and addressing their needs. Documenting patient care activities and timely image distribution for interpretation. Qualifications Associate’s degree and certification in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire in Maryland; within 90 days in Washington, DC. State licensure in Maryland or Virginia and BLS certification. Effective communication skills, basic computer skills preferred. No prior work experience required; basic certifications needed. This part-time role involves working every other weekend, evenings from 3 PM to 1:30 AM, with a pay range of USD $29.73 - $48.63 per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
