Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment at a busy hospital in Brandon, FL. The role involves supporting cardiac catheterization procedures within a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate and assist with cardiac catheterization equipment and procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient safety during interventions.
Prepare and maintain a sterile field for invasive procedures.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Document all procedures accurately according to hospital policies.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

Valid state license as a Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
Proven ability to operate imaging and catheterization equipment.
Strong patient assessment and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
