SUMMARY Assists guests with their service needs at the pool and beach to include chair, towel, and umbrella service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist guests courteously and efficiently with towel service, sundry sales, beach furniture and bike rentals.
- Ensures that work station is clean at all the times.
- Keep chairs, beach and pool deck clean and clear of debris.
- Anticipate guest needs.
- Timely set up and breakdown beach chairs and umbrellas.
- Maintain rental equipment including furniture and bikes.
- Assist with the daily laundering of beach towels.
- Adhere to all the opening and closing duties.
- Generate a good atmosphere for guests and co-workers.
- Ensure all pool and beach furniture is neatly arranged and cleaned.
- Adhere to towel card standard operating procedures.
- Provide guests with towel and chair service.
- Assist guests with adherence to pool and beach safety.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
- The employee must maintain a valid driver's license.
- The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.
