The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste. Maintain high standards of food management, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork. Qualifications Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role within a fine dining environment. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of inventory control processes and food management practices. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
