As a Security Officer - Full Time in Franklin Park, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in support of authorized access procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require security-related attention.
• Support site operations by maintaining accurate logs, preparing incident-related reports, and communicating clearly with client representatives and Allied Universal leadership regarding access control and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
