Help launch our new community hospital in Farmington, New Mexico! Exceptional Healthcare is seeking skilled Respiratory Therapists to provide critical respiratory care across all departments as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
- Assess and treat respiratory-compromised patients of all ages
- Operate and manage LTV 1200 ventilators
- Draw and interpret ABGs and advocate for appropriate care
- Administer respiratory treatments, including inhalants and therapeutic gases
- Develop and evaluate respiratory therapy treatment plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for coordinated patient care
- Assist with various clinical needs as part of a versatile team
What You'll Need
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- At least 2 years' ER/ICU experience as RT
- At least 2 years of experience with pediatric patients
- Current unencumbered RT license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (NRP preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to function as a team player in a small facility environment
