Responsibilities

• Responsible for X‑ray patients using radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs, according to Radiologist directions.
• Generate high‑quality images to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Prepare and maintain records and files as directed.

Principal Accountabilities Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns. Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient. Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School. NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a Health Care Facility, Hospital System, or relevant area. 0–3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
