Staff Accountant

Job Description Hotels at Home – Fairfield, NJ (On-site) Hotels at Home is a global e-commerce company partnering with leading hospitality brands to bring the hotel experience directly to consumers. We are seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in Fairfield, NJ. This role is ideal for someone with strong operational accounting experience who enjoys working across reconciliations, month-end close, journal entries, and day-to-day accounting processes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Support and execute month-end close activities Prepare and post journal entries Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations Manage AP/AR accounting processes and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate general ledger recordsAssist with financial reporting and supporting schedules Work within ERP systems to ensure accurate accounting data Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to improve accounting processes Support ongoing process improvement and automation initiatives Qualifications 3+ years of full-time Staff Accountant or operational accounting experience Hands-on experience with month-end close Strong understanding of journal entries and reconciliations Experience with AP, AR, and bank reconciliations end-to-end Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.) Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, SAP, JDE, QuickBooks, or similar Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a collaborative, on-site environment Location This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fairfield, NJ. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hotels at Home
