Description The Associate Patient Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact, providing excellent customer service to patients or visitors in person or by phone. Acting as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams, the coordinator ensures a smooth patient experience throughout the administrative flow of care. Ideal for individuals early in their career, this role offers learning opportunities across core front and back office duties while supporting routine and basic healthcare services in Primary Care and Specialty Care Clinics in the Portland Metro Area (Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, and Yamhill Counties). Employees work full‑time across multiple shifts. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in person and by phone. Act as a liaison among patients, providers, and care teams to ensure a smooth patient experience. Perform front and back‑office duties, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, updating demographic information, and patient support. Maintain clinic efficiency through accurate documentation and adherence to workflows within the electronic medical record (EPIC). Demonstrate growth and proficiency in supporting Providence's mission of compassionate, high‑quality care. Required Qualifications 6 months of customer‑service related experience. Preferred Qualifications 6 months of office experience, preferably in a medical office; recent experience in the medical field. 6 months of experience with an Electronic Medical Record system.
