Radiology Technologist

*Full Job Description*

The Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) will provide timely and efficient services that are appropriate for all patients served by the department. The Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the NRO Radiology Department's Policy and Procedure Manual; will assist in assigned administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies.

M-F, with occasional Saturdays

*Responsibilities*

* As a Radiologic Technologist at Northern Rockies Orthopaedics, you will provide accurate orthopedic imaging across clinic rooms
* You will perform diagnostic x-ray exams while using consistent safety and quality standards
* Produce high-quality images using overhead x-ray machine and a U-arm machine
* Prepare patients by confirming orders and explaining exam steps
* Maintain room readiness, accurately label images and manage patient records
* Rotate with other techs in multiple x-ray rooms to keep pace in a busy orthopedic practice while being organized
* Coordinate closely with providers and staff, keep patients informed, and stay focused as volumes change throughout the day
* Assist in administrative tasks that pertain to the x-ray department

*Required Qualifications:*

* Completion of Accredited Radiologic Technologist program
* Montana Radiologic Technologist limited license and full certification with 6 months of hire.
* National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months of hire.
* National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
