Territory Manager – Southeast United States Full-time | Hospitals & Healthcare | Reports to Director of Sales & Vice President About SMI Cold Therapy SMI Cold Therapy has manufactured cold compression therapy products for hospitals, surgery centers, and clinics since 2004. The company combines the efficacy of motorized cooling systems with the simplicity of gel wraps. Every product is American-made. More than 600 programs currently use SMI. The Role This full-time Territory Manager position drives sales growth and brand presence in this Atlanta-based southeastern United States territory. You will own relationships with hospitals, surgery centers, and clinics—working directly with surgeons, nurses, and supply chain stakeholders. The job requires both independent field work and coordination with internal customer service and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Prospect and develop new accounts while expanding existing ones Conduct product demonstrations and clinical in-services Manage the full sales pipeline and hit or exceed territory quotas Educate clinical teams on product use and benefits Collect market feedback and share insights internally Use CRM tools, regular reporting, and a mix of virtual and in-person meetings to drive consistent growth Represent SMI at regional conferences and events as needed Qualifications Proven success meeting quotas in B2B territory sales, account development, and relationship building Experience with consultative selling, product demonstrations, and educating clinical staff 100% outside sales background with willingness to travel and stay overnight as required Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across clinical and administrative audiences Excellent time management and organizational skills for covering a large territory Comfortable with CRM software, virtual meeting platforms, and standard productivity tools Prior experience in medical device, healthcare, or hospital sales is strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience Ability to work independently, take initiative, and stay results- and customer-focused Compensation & Support Competitive base salary, immediate bonus eligibility, and uncapped commissions with no earnings ceiling.
