Sign On Bonus $10,000 Sign on Bonus for External Candidates Primary Responsibilities Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and assure proper file identification. Perform all computerized tomography procedures and operate related equipment with competency. Greet patients, obtain history, and enter information into the computer system. Scan according to guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality. Observe patient vital signs during examination. Provide instruction/mentoring to new hires. Maintain CPR certification. Perform procedures in compliance with Standards of Care, facility and regulatory requirements, and ARRT Standards of Ethics. Adhere to HIPAA regulations for quality standards. Assist in the completion of the accreditation process for the American College of Radiology (ACR) every three years. Educate patients about procedures and post‑procedure follow‑up steps. Deliver positive experience to referring providers and maintain quality of care. Submit diagnostic-quality images without need for repeat acquisitions; conduct quality assurance on images and equipment. Make decisions authoritatively and wisely based on available options. Contribute to efficient outpatient operations and maximize modality productivity. Interact positively with colleagues and contribute to a collaborative work environment. Meet or exceed deadlines, demonstrating accountability, flexibility, and adaptability. Maintain professional growth and certifications, registrations, and active CME through education programs, conferences, and workshops. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) CT certified Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine 2+ years of experience in computed tomography Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization Ability to adequately use, or learn to use, the department's computerized system and its associated devices Physical Demands Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Must be able to assist patients weighing 300 pounds or more and place them in appropriate positions for the operation of equipment Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to operate equipment and review images Core Customers and Key Relationships Patients Patients Families and Friends Physicians and Other Medical Staff External Medical Partners Pay & Benefits Pay ranges from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour for full‑time employment.
